Changsha Jinxia Economic Development Zone located in North Changsha city, covering a total planning area of 34.96 square kilometers. It is continuous with DINGZI Town of WangCheng County in North and with the central city zone in South. Around it,Laodaohe River is in its north, Shahe River is in its south, Xiangjiang River is in its east and Zhongqing Road is in its west. It has 13.84 square kilometers of the land area of planning use for construction, which was approved by the state in 2006.
Changsha Jinxia Economic Development Zone is only 20 kilometers away from Changsha Huanghua International Airport. It has a harbor of thousands tones grade which could be open to navigate all year round. Jingguang (Beijing-Guangzhou) railway crosses it from North to South and Shichang railway from East to West. The second & third ring roads cross it and link to Jingzhu(Beijing-Zhuhai), Changchang and Changyong super highways. With the advantages of a convenient communication network of river, airline, railway,road and under-ground pipeline, CJED has become a vital international logistics basement in China.

Changsha Jinxia Economic Development Zone supported by three industries of logistics, industries and real estate, mainly including Eexiu group,Jingxia Group and Gaoling Group:
Erxiu Group is the central and comprehenshive group with a planning area of 11.98 square kilometers. It emphasizes on ecotypic living, commerce, office building and tourism. In its planning, there are many big public construction projects such as Eryangsha park, Xiufengshan park, Xiangjiang views-line, Xiufeng views-axis, provincial key middle schools, three grade A hospitals, etc.. Most of the land is planed to be living.
Jingxia group is the core logistics area, with a planning area of 10.87 square kilometers. The Changsha city government has clearly announced to support it to be a core logistics area with all efforts. It is only a 20-minute car ride from Changsha Huanghua International Airport. There are the new railway station in its east, Xianing Xingang harbor in its west, the Custom bonded logistics center in its south. an energy base in its north. It has the advantages of all river, road, railway, airline and under-ground pipeline. Most of the land is planned to be as logistics and industries.
Gaoling group is the international logistics and commerce center, with a planning area of 12.11 square kilometers. It is between the second and third ring roads. Jingguang railway and Laodaohe station are in its west. It is the subcenter of logistics to supply a gap to the land shortage of Jingxia group. Quite some industries will be properly located along with railway. Most of the land is planned to be storage and living.
